What "Design" Actually Means Here
A website is not a poster. It's a sequence of decisions a visitor makes in seconds — do I trust this business, can I find what I need, is this worth my time. Good design makes every one of those decisions easy. That's the job, and it's a very different job from making something look impressive in isolation.
So when we design a site, we're deciding:
- What the visitor sees first, and whether it answers their question immediately
- How they move from "interested" to "contacted you," with as few obstacles as possible
- Whether the site feels credible on a phone screen, since that's where most visitors will actually see it
- How the page structure supports search visibility, because a beautifully designed page nobody finds isn't doing its job
